what is a mate?.

i really dont know if i have ever felt romantic attraction. it seems different. i guess to me a mate is someone i want to understand but also i want to provide for and provides for me. well, i want to provide for all my friends so whats the true seperation?. i guess. uhhh. a friend who i am always able to come back to, someone who i dont tire of.
